All sections: Round 1-5, G/90; +30 second increment.

All Sections (Championship, U1800, U1600, U1400, U1200/Unrated): $65.  |  DCC members or juniors (age under 14) receive a discount of $10.  |  $10 fee to play up one section from your live USCF standard rating.  It is only permitted to play up one section.

Championship (+1700 USCF) [1st, 2nd,3rd]: $600, $400, $200;
U2200: $200, $100
U2000: $200, $100
U1800: $400, $300, $200  
U1600: $350, $225, $125
U1400: $300, $200, $100
U1200: $250, $150, $100

Championship (Minimum Rating USCF 1700) and Four additional USCF-RATED sections:  U1800, U1600, U1400, U1200

Note: Unrated players may play in any section, but only eligible to win $100 in whichever section competing in between U1800 to U1200 sections, or can play in +1700 section if they pay the extra $10 fee and be eligible for place prizes and eligible for only a $100 of U2200 or U2000.

Note: Player can only play up at most 1 section (e.g. a player rated 1520 can only play in the U1600, or in the U1800 if they pay the extra fee; but not the championship)

Online Registration closes on 5/20/2023 at 1am!!  Online Only (Link towards the bottom) - Limited to 112 players - No at the door registrations will be allowed - Online Registration closes when 110 players are reached or otherwise at 1am 5/20

Round time 1-5: Saturday 9:30 am, 1:30pm, 6pm - Sunday 10am 2:30pm

Only one half point bye will be allowed, and round 2-4 bye's must be requested before round 2. Bye’s for Round 5 will be scored as zero, but will not be considered a withdrawal.

Registered players: If you have not requested a bye for round 1, you will be paired automatically for the first round.
The Denver Chess Club reserves the right to change tournament specifications as deemed appropriate.
Regular Time-Control: 5 round Swiss system tournament (Saturday-Sunday All sections).
